A Note to Parents

Hello! My name is Adam Brigan, and I direct The Navigator ministry at the University of Oklahoma. My wife, Taryn and I, met in college and were married in April 2014. College is where God transformed both of our hearts for Him, and we are passionate about reaching others in this new, scary, and exciting season of life!

The OU Navigators are part of the collegiate wing of The Navigators
and are a registered student group at OU.

In 2 Corinthians 4:5, Paul writes,

"For what we proclaim is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, with ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake."

Our goal is the same -- to serve students by pointing them to Jesus. We provide a weekly large group meeting, events, and retreats geared toward spiritual growth, community building, and personal development. Much of what we emphasize is small groups where students can study and explore the Bible in the context of community. Most of these are led by older students, and they take place all over campus. Our hope is to meet students wherever they are in their spiritual journey and to help them come to know the incomparable person of Jesus Christ. We trust that as students begin to grow in following Jesus, they will begin to take seriously his call to "make disciples of all nations." (Matt 28:19) We work to help them develop as leaders and disciple-makers living in obedience to Jesus for the glory of God, their gladness, and the good of those around them.

If you have any questions about our group or things we're doing on campus, please do not hesitate to contact me.

I would be glad to share more about our vision for ministry on campus at OU and throughout the world. If you are ever in the Norman area, please let me know. I would enjoy the opportunity to meet you.

We value the privilege of being a part of your student's college experience!

In Christ alone,

Adam Brigan

Campus Director
